In an exhibition, the ancient books of the Franciscan Library of the Holy Land tell the story of the communities, by the way in which these books were preserved.
This ancient book endured for centuries with a reinforced cover made of metal and leather. This one, instead, has no protection, and is easily subject to the action of weather. But what do these books and the other 38 samples have in common? Exhibited in the Custody of the Holy Land, in Jerusalem, in early November, the collection has been part of the ‘Reading Device Exhibition’.
